Aspired by the quest for Information Technology (IT) skilled professionals,
Mentari Institute of Information Technology in collaboration with the NCC
Education has prepared a platform for both local and foreign students to pursue
an education in IT. In line with Mentari's mission of "providing a learning
ground that enables students to zealously contribute towards the IT industry
and to prepare individuals for the forefront in the IT race for survival",
Mentari Institute guarantees education in a conducive environment with up
to date facilities. A thorough course curriculum with a balance of lectures
and practical learning such as seminars, forums, tutorials, workshops, projects,
presentations and dissertations has been formed.
History
MENTARI IT SDN BHD, a locally incorporated company specializing in providing
ICT training for corporate entities and individuals, was originally incorporated
as Pusat Komputer Mentari in 1996. In early 1998 Pusat Komputer Mentari was
transformed and strengthened as Mentari IT SDN BHD, thus also launching a
wing spcializing in mastering the English language in the very essence of
the word. Subsequently in 1999 the Ministry of Education had bestowed the
endorsement to Mentari IT Sdn Bhd to bear the oficial status of Private Higher
Learning Institution (B4P8070).
